HOW IT WORKS
Your device. A powerful remote workspace.
Understand the technology—and the steps from a project enquiry to an agreed workstation scope.
Your device sends input and receives the display.
The keyboard, mouse and screen are your connection to the session. Device, network and peripheral requirements are reviewed for the intended tasks.
The workstation runs the applications.
Compute, graphics and the application environment sit on the remote workstation. Application versions, plug-ins and virtual-use rights are part of the configuration review.
Project data follows an agreed path.
Applications can connect to customer-approved storage when the workflow supports it. Local working files and caches need their own location, access and retention rules.
Persistence is different from backup.
Retaining a workspace between sessions does not make it continuously running or automatically recoverable. Session access, retention and recovery are separate parts of the scope.
From enquiry to a scoped decision.
Share the need, review the workload, agree the scope, then confirm setup and acceptance before any project access begins.
How the remote workstation connects
The input and display connection is separate from the project-data connection.
- Your device: Provides keyboard, pointer and display through a suitable endpoint and connection.
- Remote workstation: Runs authorised applications and the agreed configuration. The workspace contains working files and caches with defined retention.
- Customer-approved storage: Connects separately for project data, with permissions and integration agreed in the project scope.
From enquiry to project scope
Access begins after configuration, availability and commercial terms are agreed.
- Share the project: Outline applications, users and timeline. No model files are needed.
- Review the fit: Review workload, licences, access and data requirements.
- Agree the scope: Agree configuration, project term, support and proposal.
- Confirm the setup: Confirm the start date, acceptance and handover.
USEFUL ANSWERS
Questions about the project.
What is a remote workstation?
A workstation that runs applications away from your local device. Your device sends keyboard and pointer input and receives the display; application data uses its own agreed storage path.
Which plan should I choose?
Essential is a starting point for focused CAD and documentation; Pro for architecture and BIM; Performance for more demanding workloads. Select “Help me choose” when submitting your enquiry.
Are software licences included?
Application subscriptions are not automatically included. Tell us which entitlements your organisation holds so the permitted setup and any additional requirements can be reviewed.
Can I use Revit, AutoCAD or Navisworks?
Share the exact application, version, plug-ins and collaboration method. Your proposal will confirm the accepted application scope and licence responsibilities; naming an application here is not a certification or support guarantee.
Can project data stay in our approved environment?
That is a requirement to review with your BIM and IT teams. Compatibility, permissions, local caches and transfers must be understood for the chosen applications.
Can we specify Canadian hosting?
Yes—include the requirement in your brief and identify which systems it covers. The delivery proposal must confirm the accepted location of compute and any other included data layers.
Do you publish standard prices?
No. Request a scoped proposal so the commercial terms reflect configuration, users, access, usage, setup, storage and support.
Does a plan include unlimited hours?
No unlimited usage is implied. Usage, simultaneous access and the project term are separate parts of the proposal.
Is the physical GPU dedicated to us?
Do not infer exclusive physical hardware from a plan name or workspace. Any exclusivity requirement must be specified and accepted in the proposal.
What equipment do users need?
A suitable endpoint, connection and compatible peripherals. Review monitors, input devices and any specialist hardware alongside the intended tasks.
Is a persistent workspace the same as backup?
No. Keeping a workspace between sessions, keeping it continuously running, and restoring data after loss are separate requirements.
Will this always cost less than buying hardware?
No. Local equipment can be attractive for stable long-term use. Compare the same users, duration, access, endpoints, support and equipment value.
Can I start immediately after submitting the form?
No. The form starts a project discussion. Configuration, application fit, availability and a start date must be confirmed before access begins.
Should I attach a model?
Not to the website enquiry. Start with a brief description; any later evaluation needs an agreed secure route and permission to use the material.
What happens at project completion?
Agree workspace exports, project-data responsibilities, access removal and retention or deletion as part of the scope before the project starts.
Does an enquiry subscribe me to marketing?
No. We use it to respond to the request and manage agreed follow-up. Unrelated marketing requires its own appropriate permission.
START WITH THE PROJECT
What does your next project need?
Tell us what your team needs to deliver. We’ll start there. Share a short project outline. We’ll review the applications, people, timing and data requirements, then discuss the most useful next step. No model files are needed to start.
Discuss your projectConfigurations, application fit and start dates are confirmed in your proposal.
