Canadian hosting: questions beyond the location
Map workspace disks, project systems, backups and support access separately.

Draw the complete data path
Identify the primary workstation, persistent workspace, project storage, local caches and transferred files. Add backups, logs, telemetry, support exports and administrative access. One machine location does not answer every data-handling question.
Separate your project system from the workstation
ACC or another approved project-data service has its own region, permissions and operating terms. Review how the application reads, synchronizes, caches and exports data in the proposed environment.
Ask for specific evidence
Request the selected provider and region, documented service scope and the supporting services involved. Confirm where each data category is handled and which commitments belong in the contract.
Keep the claim precise
Canadian-hosted compute does not by itself establish Canadian-only processing, legal compliance, sovereignty or a security certification. Review requirements with your technical and legal advisers for your own circumstances.
Revisit the map when things change
A new backup service, telemetry tool or support arrangement can change a data flow. Keep the scope current and review it before bringing a new type of project information into the environment.
